ARSA ANCRE SUISSE (SWISS) 16 SIZE 15 JEWEL GOLD PLATED POCKET WATCH
This is a nice Arsa Ancre Swisse Pocket Watch. It is a 16 size, 15 jewel pocket watch. The watch case has a diameter of 46mm. It was purchased in Bulgaria and was told it is a WW2 era rare model pocket watch. It has been serviced. It has a very nice off-white (amber) dial with no damage or hairlines. It has Arabic numbers, black hands, seconds dial at the “6” position and all working properly. It has an outer chapter 24 hour ring, matching correct hands. Crystal is in nice condition. Back is hinged and opens fine to 90 degrees. Case is a Watz Gold Double 20 Mikron “Garantie 10 Jahre” signed RTW. Nice gold case. The back has a cross hatch “V” with diamond design. Movement is gold flashed, printed 15 Rubis, Ancre and has pressed ruby jewels. Balance looks a little sluggish but keeping good time. It winds and sets well. Nice shape bale and coin edge to case. A nice looking dress watch. Movement has gold train case, has #404503
RARE ANTIQUE SWISS DOXA POCKET WATCH – LARGE 68MM
This beautiful Anti-Magnetic Doxa Pocket Watch has a silver dial with roman numerals; seconds
shown at the six position. This has a nice “Pin Set” movement which sets the time at the 1:00
number – you push the lever down while turning to set the time; time winds at the crown.
This watch has a beautiful stainless steel or chrome case marked ARGENTAN DOXA DEPOSE, case #473698. The case and covers are matching. The dust cover is stamped with five watch awards in 1905 and 1906– showing MEDAILLE D’OR MILAN 1906 and HORS CONCOURS LIEGE 1905 The movement appears to be 15 jewels. It is clean and running great. It does have a varied time from day to day but generally accurate. Dox was founded in 1889 and gained fame for its Divers Watches
1881 WALTHAM APPLETON TRACY 18 SIZE MODEL 1877 POCKET WATCH
This is an 1881 Waltham Appleton Tracy, Model 1877, 18 Size Pocket Watch. This is in a nice
Dueber Silverine Hunting Case with a dust cover. It is in nice shape, but has a slight dent in the
back. It has double hinges, a nice advantage to set the lever time on the movement or inspect
the movement. The crystal is original glass with beveled edge; has a few minor scratches.
The movement is 15 Jewel, Serial #1527510. It has a gold flash color, blue screws, adjusted
movement screw-set jewels. Running great and keeping time. This watch is 141 years old, looks great. Winds and sets well. Bail sets up nicely. Dial is good with Roman numerals, signed American Watch Co. Waltham, Mass. Has a few hairlines under magnification. Case, side to side, is about 56mm. Thickness is about 20mm.
HAMPDEN WM. MCKINLEY 17 JEWEL ADJUSTED 16 SIZE POCKET WATCH – C.1915
This is a very nice Hampden Wm. McKinley 16 size pocket watch with 17 jewels, adjusted 3
positions, serial #3307949, c. 1915, in a gold filled case. Case: It measures about 47mm side to side. It has a beautiful engraved Faheys Montauk case, #499806. The back and front screw off and on well. This is a yellow gold 20 year case. Dial: The dial is white. It has fine hairlines at the 5 and 11-12. It is marked Hamden Watch Co. in script letters. The blued hands look original. Numbers are Arabic with black minute markers. There are red 5 minute markers on the outside chapter with a seconds dial at the 6:00 position. Movement: Very clean and running extremely well. Winds easily and sets by stem. Has gold train marked in gold-17 Jewels, Adjusted, Serial 3307949, Wm. McKinley, Hampden symbol, Canton O, Safety Pinion. Movement keeps fairly good time. Railroad grade.
ANTIQUE SOLID SILVER 0.800 OPEN FACE POCKET WATCH, SWISS, 1900’s
This is a very nice pocket watch. It has a fancy enameled dial with black Arabic numbers and
blue 13-24 numbers inside. There is a seconds register at the 6:00 position. It has fancy gold
hands and a floral design at the center. There is a hairline through the seconds register which is
not very noticeable. The case is a nicely preserved 0.800 Solid Silver, with hinged back. All hinges work well. The diameter is 48.5mm, excluding pendant and crown. It is marked 0.800, 8302-65. The movement is a Swiss-made mechanical movement with manual stem button setting, pin set. To set, press the button at the 1:00 position and rotate the crown. The movement is in very good condition and running well. It has been tested over a week since service and it is running great, keeping time.
SWISS SILVER CASED ANTIQUE POCKET WATCH – 1900’S
This is a very nice Swiss-made pocket watch. It is running very well, strong and keeping time. It has a beautiful white dial, no damage or hairlines. It has nice fancy gold hands, all working fine. It has black Roman numerals, gold dots on each hour, and red 24 hour markings inside the Roman numerals. Nice silver ring above the crown. Ring is loose. There is a seconds dial at the “6” on the dial. The movement winds very easily. Watch is Pin Set by pushing in bottom just left of winding crown–while pushing down, turn crown to set the watch. Works great. The movement is a light gold color, runs great. Escapement is cylinder and has 10 jewels, movement is clean, running well. There is a nice hinged silver dust cover over the movement. The case is well preserved and marked Depose Argentan, back cover is hinged. All hinges work well. Back is nicely engraved. Movement is about 40mm and case 48mm side to side. Dial, movement and case are in excellent condition.
